All patients over 18 are eligible to register. Registration is voluntary but strongly encouraged — it gives you access to the full digital care experience, including all Vertex Automations AI-powered features.
Can I book appointments using the Patient Portal?
Yes. With Vertex Automations active, your appointment slots are powered by the Unified Risk Prioritisation Engine — clinical urgency is the primary driver, with no-show probability as the built-in operational dimension. High clinical risk + low no-show probability = priority slots auto-filtered in real time. High no-show risk = protected slots + mandatory confirmation + escalated reminders. One engine. Zero extra clicks.
Can I check in for my appointment via the portal?
Yes. eCheck-In can be completed up to 30 minutes before your appointment. Vertex also activates geofence auto-check-in — so your check-in completes the moment your car enters the CCAD car park.
Can I access my medical records?
Yes. Your full medical record — including test results, medication history, and condition notes — is synced from the Epic EHR system and available in the portal within hours of being updated.
